October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and our salons are joining the fight with our "Color for a Cure." The Mane Thing and Headlines are teaming up to raise revenues for breast cancer equipment with a donation to the Geary Community Health Care Foundation. Throughout the entire month of October, we will be donating a portion of our revenue for every color service performed in each salon. 2008 will be our 2nd Annual drive to assist our community in acquiring all the state of the art equipment to provide early detection at the highest level possible. Each guest receiving any color service in October will receive a "goodie bag" and a Woman's Guide to Health provided by the Geary County Health Care Foundation.

Last year The Mane Thing donated just over $500.00 for the cause. This year with the addition of our sister salon Headlines, we hope to increase that amount to at least $800.00. Please help us to meet our goal and enjoy the results of a fantastic color as well. We will be "Pretty in Pink" featuring many other products that contribute part of product revenues to National Breast Cancer Research. Join the effort and reserve your visit soon.
